Information You Submit
A name, phone number, or address entered into a search form is sent to the third-party provider that supplies results. Our servers do not retain a copy of those searches. If you contact us, we receive the contents of your message and use them to respond.
Information Collected Automatically
Standard hosting logs can include IP address, browser type, viewed pages, and timestamps. We use aggregated log data to maintain the service and understand page use. Cookies or comparable tools may support basic analytics and, where relevant, advertising measurement.
How We Use the Information
Information supports site operation, troubleshooting, traffic measurement, and improvements. We do not sell visitor lists or create profiles of individual visitors.
External Links
County and state record portals, library collections, archives, and third-party search tools have their own privacy practices. Their policies govern information submitted on their services, including sponsored search results provided by a third party.
Who Can Receive Data
Hosting and support providers process server logs for the service. Analytics and advertising partners may receive the automatic data described above. Data is disclosed when valid legal process requires disclosure, and otherwise not.
Protecting Information
The service uses an encrypted connection and retains logs only for as long as the stated purposes require. Since there are no accounts, it does not hold a visitor password or account profile.
Visitors Under 18
The service is intended for adults and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If a minor has sent information, contact us and it will be deleted.
Your Information Choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data held by a website. The research did not identify a general Michigan consumer-data sharing statute that changes this basic policy. Because we keep little, a request normally involves checking the contact mailbox and relevant server logs, then removing material found there. Use the Contact page to ask. Public records held by Michigan, Macomb County, or Harrison Township remain under the relevant custodian's control, so correction or removal requests for those records must go to that office.
Policy Changes
Changes to this policy will appear here. Continued use after an update indicates acceptance of the revised policy.
